Event Staging, Lighting & AV in Miami
Our team behind the scenes has illuminated auditoriums for rock & roll, prepped presidents for the podium and, quite literally, set the stage for thousands of dramatic theatrical moments.

With the majority of projects requiring weeks of design & fabrication, we keep company with the best in the business to showcase our work in its best light. See our corporate event production and destination management services.

AV designed with the set, not bolted on after
At many events, AV shows up as a separate package on load-in day. At Firebrand, audio-visual is one of the departments in our Miami facility, alongside floral, carpentry, printing, paint and 3D printing. The people drawing your stage are talking with the people lighting it from the very first sketch.
-
The stage reads as one picture. Scenery, screens and lighting are designed together, so nothing fights for attention.
-
Your brand looks its best. Color, texture and finish are chosen with the lighting in mind.
-
Your speakers are supported. Staging and sound are planned around the people who need to be seen and heard.
-
One point of accountability. Design, fabrication and AV come from one coordinated team.
What we provide
Event staging
Stages and set pieces for general sessions, keynotes, award moments and entertainment, built in our own 10,000 sq. ft. facility and designed to fit the room and the moment. See how we build them in custom event fabrication.
Lighting
Lighting that sets the mood, reveals the scenery and makes a room feel intentional, from a ballroom gala to a poolside dinner. We light the set, the speakers and the guests' moments in between.
Video
Screens and video planned into the staging, so content is part of the set rather than an afterthought bolted to the side of it.
Audio
Sound for presenters, live music and performers, planned so every guest hears every word, whether the room holds an intimate dinner or a conference for thousands.
What AV does for a corporate event
AV is how your audience experiences the program. If people can't see the speaker, read the screen or hear the answer to a question, the content doesn't land, however good it is. Good staging, lighting and sound are mostly invisible; guests just notice that the event felt clear, polished and easy to follow.
That's why we start with the moments that matter: the opening, the keynote, the award, the reveal, the performance. We design the stage and the light around those moments, then make sure everything in between runs smoothly.
Sized to the room and the moment
Every room asks for something different. A ballroom general session needs sightlines and screens that reach the back row. An awards dinner needs a stage that looks right from every table and light that flatters both the winners and the brand. A poolside or outdoor dinner needs lighting that creates atmosphere after sunset. We plan staging, lighting, video and audio to fit the space, the audience and the program, from intimate, high-end occasions to conferences of thousands.
Events we light and stage
Our audio-visual work supports the full range of corporate events Firebrand produces: meetings and general sessions, conferences, gala dinners and receptions, awards programs, product launches and VIP hospitality environments.

-
STAGE: a custom stage for a dinner and awards show, with corporate branding brought to life through staging, AV and scenic décor.
-
POOLSIDE: a luxury dining environment around a resort pool on Key Biscayne, where décor, lighting and entertainment went up in under two hours.
-
NOLA: a hotel ballroom transformed into a VIP hospitality lounge for the College Football Playoff.
Lighting live music and performers
Entertainment at a Firebrand event means live music and performers, and we stage and light them as part of the whole show. A virtuoso at the stage piano or a performance during dinner gets the same attention as the keynote: where they stand, how they're seen and how they sound.
Discretion as standard
We bring the same care to every client, whatever the size of the room, and we hold our clients' privacy in the highest regard.
How we work
Discovery. We learn your objective, audience, venue and agenda.
Design. Staging, lighting and AV are planned with the scenic design and shared with you before anything is built.
Build and prep. Our fabricators build in our shop while the AV plan is finalized.
Show day. We install, run the show and strike.
Because most custom projects need weeks of design and fabrication, the earlier we talk, the more options you have.
Part of a complete production
Audio-visual is one part of our corporate event production in Miami. We pair it with event design, fabrication, live entertainment and group transportation and logistics.

Based in the Miami area, we build for events across South Florida and for projects across the US.
FAQ
What is AV in event management?
AV, or audio-visual, is the audio, lighting, video and staging that let your audience see and hear the program. At Firebrand, it's planned alongside the design and the build.
Do you handle staging and lighting together with the set?
Yes. Staging, lighting and AV are planned with our design and fabrication teams from the first sketch, so the stage reads as one picture. See event design and fabrication.
Can you support large conferences?
Yes. We produce events from intimate, high-end occasions to conferences with thousands of people.
Can you provide AV on its own?
Our audio-visual work is part of the events we produce. We plan staging, lighting, video and sound together with the design and the build, so everything works as one show.
How far in advance should we contact you?
As early as you can. Most custom projects need weeks of design and fabrication, and earlier planning gives you more options.
Do you work outside South Florida?
Yes. We work across South Florida and on projects across the US. See our work on the road.
What AV equipment does a corporate event need?
Sound for speakers and performers, lighting for the stage and room, screens for content, and staging, all sized to your room and audience. We supply it from our own equipment and from trusted partners, depending on what the event needs.
